Frustration

It's not often I get frustrated with something, but working on these fingerless gloves has done it for me! I have knit and ripped I know at least five times. I cannot get the pattern right. I know I am counting stitches correctly, so now I am beginning to think it may be the pattern. Drats!! I was so excited to get started on these, and love the yarn, too.

So, here it is. In all it's glory. I have abandoned it for the time being until my expert sock knitting buddy can take a look at it and see what she can make of it.

With idle hands driving me nuts I picked this ball of yarn I have been hoarding to cast on for another neck warmer.
I splurged when buying this yarn awhile back. Since there is not enough for a scarf, a neck warmer will do just perfectly. Love'n the colors and the beads in the yarn, and have the perfect retro button I am contemplating about!

I'm off to get the day started. Much to do. A birthday party, grocery run, visit with a friend, and get some laundry worked in there, too! Oh, and of course, some knitting time this evening.

Hasta la vista, baby!

I can't stand it either when a pattern doesn't click. You just want to pull your hair out!

Love the red yarn you are using. The beads are awesome! Can't wait to see it done.
